Job Title: Project Engineer - Electrical
Job Summary: Provide essential support in project closeout, document control, risk mitigation, budgeting, safety management, and scheduling. Apply the comprehensive understanding of engineering processes and project management principles, with a particular focus on document control, budget management to ensure timely execution of the project activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engineering support for US Projects from our Mumbai office
- Take ownership of the document control process, ensuring the maintenance and distribution of current contract documents in compliance with company standards.
- Understand and mitigate risks associated with the management of contract documents.
- Actively participate in trade partner and daily project huddles, as well as owner meetings.
- Be accountable for assigned tasks and issues, providing updates and resolutions in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement the project closeout process, ensuring that all data is gathered, compiled, and assembled for turnover to the client.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure timely and accurate documentation for project closeout.
- Assist in the proper setup of project budgets, including approval and audit flows.
- Review proposals for assigned trade partners, ensuring accuracy in scope and compliance with budgetary requirements.
- Assist with the payment application process, including set-up, draw management, and the management of the Checks Held Report.
- Develop Requests for Information (RFI) and review submittals for accuracy.
- Propose solutions to RFIs before sending them to the Design team.
- Manage the engineering system for assigned trades, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
