Project Engineer

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Support the construction process for American projects from our Indian office.
Take ownership of the document control process, ensuring the maintenance and distribution of current contract documents in compliance with company standards.
Understand and mitigate risks associated with the management of contract documents.
Actively participate in trade partner and daily project huddles, as well as owner meetings.
Be accountable for assigned tasks and issues, providing updates and resolutions in a timely manner.
Develop and implement the project closeout process, ensuring that all data is gathered, compiled, and assembled for turnover to the client.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure timely and accurate documentation for project closeout.
Assist in the proper setup of project budgets, including approval and audit flows.
Review proposals for assigned trade partners, ensuring accuracy in scope and compliance with budgetary requirements.
Assist with the payment application process, including set-up, draw management, and the management of the Checks Held Report.
Develop Requests for Information (RFI) and review submittals for accuracy.
Propose solutions to RFIs before sending them to the Design team.
Manage the engineering system for assigned trades, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.

Job Requirement
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or a related field. OR master's degree of Construction Management
2-3 years of experience in field/Project control. International experience is preferred.
Basic knowledge of Pro-core/ACC/Aconex and SAP is preferred.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
